We are thrilled to announce a significant milestone for our organization. Michelle Bauman has been promoted to the role of Chief Program Officer (CPO) at Developmental Pathways, effective March 31, 2025. Reporting directly to our CEO, Matt VanAuken, Michelle’s promotion is a testament to her exceptional leadership and dedication over the past 12 years.
Michelle’s journey with us has been marked by a series of impactful roles, including Sr. Case Manager, Program Manager, Associate Director, Director of PQ, Sr. Director of Strategic Planning, and most recently, VP of CM Operations. Her extensive experience and deep understanding of our programs have been invaluable in driving our mission forward.
Throughout her tenure, Michelle has been pivotal in several key initiatives:
- Preparing teams for Case Management Redesign
- Launching regular staff surveys and listening sessions to enhance feedback loops
- Driving operational workflow updates and collaborating with IT to develop in-house tech solutions
- Leading backlog reduction efforts to improve efficiency
- Advocating and representing DP with state partners
In her new position as CPO, Michelle will provide executive-level operational leadership, programmatic vision, and strategic planning for our Early Intervention (EI) and Long-Term Care Case Management (LTC CM) programs. Michelle’s adaptability, keen listening skills, and strategic mindset make her exceptionally well-positioned for this role.
