• Engage on Social Media: Educate others and spread awareness online! Take a picture of yourself with a DD Awareness bag or bookmark, and hashtag #DDAwarenessMonth, #COIDD, #ChoosetoInclude and @dev_pathways! Also, like and share other posts that reflect the spirit of the month!
• Stay Up to Date: Visit our DD Awareness Month web page, our Facebook page and our Twitter page throughout the month to discover resources, stories and more.
• Attend an Event: Many of the celebratory events will be hosted by awesome community partners and businesses who are excited about making sure that our community is inclusive! Check out our online calendar to see current and new events as they are added. Feel free to attend or support any event that piques your interest… Don’t forget to bring a friend!
• Spread the Word: We would LOVE to see families and individuals participating in unique, and personal ways! Also spread the word to your own friends and family members. The more people who #choosetoinclude the more inclusive our community becomes.
