💚 Classical Music Series at The Mansion – Majestic Cello

Classical Music Series: The Highlands Ranch Cultural Affairs Association is proud to present a three-part series of classical music at The Highlands Ranch Historic Mansion. Each evening will include an hour\’s open house for self-guided Mansion tours. The performances are in the Mansion\’s beautiful, historic solarium.

November 8: Majestic Cello

While the string quartet has been known as the ideal combination of 4 voices, adding an additional cello brings out a new level of richness and expression.  Come bask in the beauty of the tenor voice of 2 cellos with the Cello Quintet.  First, we’ll present a rarely heard romantic gem by the composer Alexander Glazunov, written during the early years of the mansion’s history.  This is followed by the iconic and famous Cello Quintet by Franz Schubert, a work of mastery and beauty that shouldn’t be missed.
