We are accepting grant applications from organizations who serve individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and delays, residing within our service area of Douglas County, Arapahoe County, and the City of Aurora.
A total of $300,000 will be awarded in three different areas of need identified and prioritized by individuals and families polled. The process will be administered by our Community Outreach Department. The three funding areas will be: Respite for caregivers, Transportation, and 3+ funding which supports children ages 3 to 5.
We’re looking for innovative projects geared toward capacity building, staff training, program development, and community building for families. Agencies working with non-English speakers are encouraged to apply.
$100,000 will be allotted to each funding area and applications will be evaluated monthly until the limit for each category is reached. Grant funds are available to non-profit and for-profit providers including, but not limited to: Program Approved Service Agencies (PASA), community agencies (recreation centers, places of worship, businesses), schools, and more.
