The Community Engagement Department at DP creates and facilitates connections to engage the broader community in supporting our families. We do this by building mutually beneficial relationships with individuals and organizations within the community to increase resources for people with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities (I/DD).
Local Agencies
We know how complex the I/DD system can be. From HCPF to CCB to PASA, it can seem like an endless list of agencies and acronyms. To assist with this, we’ve written down all the terms and letters frequently used to describe agencies that serve people with I/DD and their families.
