Services

Care coordination & therapeutic services for children up to 3 years.

No cost to the family; funding hierarchy based on individual situation:

  1. Private Insurance  or Health First CO

Services

Care coordination and help accessing services for people with qualifying age/diagnosis.

Medicaid Providers bill Medicaid directly for services.

State General Funded Programs

Services

Assists families with cost of caring for someone with I/DD. Two different programs to assist individuals with IDD and their families: Family Support Services & State SLS.

Funding

Funds requested by allocation requests and/ or through a service plan.

State allocates $ to CMAs & determines what requests can be funded.

Funding parameters are set by a combination of State, CMA, and Family Support Council members.

Community Outreach Waitlist (Local)

Services

A DP program providing care coordination and help accessing services for individuals and families with unmet needs.

Funding

Funds are requested through a variety of local programs including Unmet Needs Requests.

Funds come from Arapahoe and Douglas Mill Levy (property taxes), donations, endowments, grants, etc.

DP and its board of directors, along with funding partners guide the program spend.
