What’s It Mean to “Behave”?

When a student’s behavior (actions or reactions) is out of sync with what the group is doing, they’re often labeled as a “behavior problem.” We’ll rethink “behavior problems” by teaching lessons that promote development of social competencies, including the power of hidden expectations and the role of Superflex, Social Fortune or Social Fate, and other curricula in the learning process, as well as other self-regulation strategies for use in the classroom, playground, and home.
