π City of Aurora — Virtual Town Hall for Public Feedback on Accessibility and Public Right-of-Way
November 7 @ 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm
The city of Aurora is embarking on a journey to become a model of accessibility for individuals with disabilities, and we need your help. During the next two years, we will develop a plan to identify, evaluate, and fund accessibility updates in our infrastructure, services, and programs.
The first phase of planning is underway, focusing on our core programs and public right-of-way infrastructure. Additional phases will examine the cityβs emergency management operations, parks and recreation programs and infrastructure, and city buildings, facilities and parking structures.
Aurora residents and businesses are our best resource for identifying gaps in accessibility for individuals with disabilities living, working, and playing in our community. You are also key to helping us prioritize improvements.
There are a few ways to get involved:
Go to EngageAurora.org/ADA to learn more about the project and respond to a brief survey by Nov. 30.
